About Vioxx

Vioxx has been presented to medical professionals and the public as a safe alternative for people who suffer from chronic pain such as arthritis. In reality, it is an expensive drug that for most people provides no better results than older, less expensive medications. Vioxx shares many of the same side effects of standard NSAID medications, while also increasing the risk of heart problems, liver damage, kidney damage, stomach ulcers, and other serious complications.
